ABSTRACT
After the oncological treatment of breast cancer, the need for reconstruction is of paramount importance. Among the various techniques for reconstruction, the large dorsal myocutaneous flap is an excellent option due to its vascular safety. The most frequent complication is seroma, and for its prevention the use of adhesion sutures in the donor area has shown benefits. The objective of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of adhesion suture as prevention of seroma formation in the large dorsal flap donor area in breast reconstruction surgeries.
