The Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica/Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery (RBCP/BJPS) is the official scientific publication of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP). All article processing charges (APCs) are covered by the Society; therefore, there are no fees or charges for submission, review, translation, or publication of articles. The electronic format of the journal, e-ISSN 2177-1235, operates under a continuous publication model.
 
The Journal aims to record scientific production in Plastic Surgery, fostering study, improvement, and continuing education for specialists in the field. Manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal must address topics related to Plastic Surgery and related areas. The journal publishes the following article categories: Editorial, Original Article, Review Article, Case Report, Ideas and Innovations, Special Article, and Letter to the Editor.
 
All processes are carried out electronically, and authors must declare that they are aware of the copyright licenses that will apply if the manuscript is accepted and published in the RBCP. The copyright policy adopted by the journal broadens access to knowledge by allowing articles to be published in Open Access format, with no prior registration required. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which authorizes users to read, download, copy, distribute, and use the content for any lawful purpose, provided proper credit is given to the authors and the journal.
