ABSTRACT
Introduction: The treatment of breast ptosis aims to re-adjust the breast content in your continent restoring its youthful pattern. The cross-flaps technique repositions the parenchyma through intercrossing and fixation of the flaps by reshaping the mammary cone.
Objective: The objective of this is to describe the technique of cross-flapping as a mastopexy option.
Method: This technique was used in patients with pure ptosis or ptosis associated with small hypertrophies.
Results: The complications were the same as those observed in other mastopexy techniques. Discussion: Correction of breast ptosis is more effective when performed with transposition of the parenchyma from the lower pole to the upper pole by relocating the mammary contents as demonstrated in the cross-flap technique.
Conclusions: The mastopexy technique with crossed flaps is easy to reproduce and represents one more option of mastopexy that if well indicated brings excellent results in the short and medium term.
