ABSTRACT
Introduction: The global obesity epidemic has led to an increasing number of bariatric surgery and more patients in need of plastic surgeries to deal with the consequences of great weight loss.
Objective: This paper discusses three post-bariatric dual plane mastopexy that have been submitted to surgery at HUWC-UFC and a short literature review of Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
Results: The patients were satisfied after the procedure, except one that was not completely satisfied because of partial epidermolysis of the left nipple.
Conclusion: The post-bariatric patients impose great challenges for the plastic surgeon to overcome but the vast number of different techniques can help to get the best result for each individual.
