ABSTRACT
Breast lipofilling has gained popularity by demonstrating its safety and efficacy. The composite breast augmentation achieves a higher mammary projection, associated with fat grafting, and results in an anatomical mammary shape, even with round implants above the muscle. The aim of this study is to describe the surgical sequence to minimize complications.
Methodology: A retrospective cohort describing the surgical sequence of composite breast augmentation.
Results: There were 38 breasts operated. There were no complications in the evaluated cases and the aesthetic result was adequate.
Discussion: Patients are currently searching for a natural-looking result. Our initial results are in agreement with the published studies of composite breast augmentation, where the breast is adequately covered, allowing a natural result without the use of a submuscular plane or anatomical implant.
Conclusion: Following the proposed technique, it is possible to perform a composite breast augmentation with a low incidence of complications.
