ABSTRACT
The term gynecomastia refers to a common male breast disorder, defined as enlargement of the mammary gland. Its cause is the imbalance in the hormonal relation of estrogen and androgen, be it physiological, idiopathic (majority), endocrinopathies or steroid abuse. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the reproduction technique used for surgical correction of patients with grade III gynecomastia.

RESUMO
O termo ginecomastia se refere a uma patologia mamária masculina, frequente, definida como aumento da glândula mamária. Tem como causa o desequilíbrio na relação hormonal de estrôgenio e androgênio, seja ela fisiológica, idiopática (maioria), por endocrinopatias ou abuso de esteroides. O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar a reprodução de técnica utilizada para correção cirúrgica de paciente com ginecomastia grau III.
