Utilização de retalhos na reconstrução inguinal bilateral

ABSTRACT

Flaps using rectus abdominis and tensor fascia lata muscles are the best option for inguinal region reconstruction after extended resections. However, the use of two flaps for palliative treatment of penile cancer should be discussed. We present a case, with good aesthetic results, of bilateral reconstruction of inguinal region with VRAM, and TFL muscle rotation.

RESUMO

Os retalhos utilizando os músculos reto abdominal (VRAM) e tensor da fáscia lata (TFL) são as melhores opções para a reconstrução da região inguinal após ressecções alargadas. No entanto, a utilização de dois retalhos para o tratamento paliativo do câncer de pênis deve ser discutido. Apresentamos um caso, com bom resultado estético, de reconstrução bilateral da região inguinal com VRAM e rotação do músculo TFL.
