In the issue 27-1 of the Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery), corresponding to the period January to March 2012, in the English version, some flaws were detected in translation article "Hemostatic net: an alternative for the prevention of hematoma in rhytidoplasty" (Rev Bras Cir Plast. 2012;27(1):22-30), listed below:
On page 24, 4th paragraph, line 8, reads "endoscopic treatment of the frontal sinus" it should read "endoscopic treatment of the frontal region".
On page 24, 8th paragraph, line 2, reads "regardless of the submental route that had been used" it should read "whether or not the submental route had been used".
On page 25, 5th paragraph, line 6, reads "and with 4-0 poliglecaprone 25 sutures" it should read "and with 4-0 poliglecaprone sutures".
On page 28, 4th paragraph, line 13, reads "194 patients who had previously undergone platysmaplasty" it should read "194 patients who had undergone platysmaplasty".
On page 29, 3rd paragraph, line 4, reads "The paradigm of using drains was transformed, especially for those who preferred simply not to use any drains" it should read "The paradigm of using drains was changed by many, who simply preferred not to use drains".
