ABSTRACT

Some aspects are presented, fruit of a 21 year-old work, that we considered important in the evaluation and in the patients' psychological attendance that undergo the plastic surgery. We approached the construction of the bond, the understanding and discrimination between healthy and pathological narcissism and the approach of the family in the surgical process.

RESUMO

São apresentados alguns aspectos, fruto de um trabalho de 21 anos, que consideramos importantes na avaliação e no acompanhamento psicológico de pacientes que se submetem à cirurgia plástica. Abordamos a construção do vínculo, a compreensão e a discriminação entre narcisismo saudável e patológico e a abordagem da família no processo cirúrgico.
