TREATMENT OF FACIAL BURN SEQUELAE USING FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER IN PATIENTS WITH SKIN PHOTOTYPES III TO VI

Ricardo Baroudi
Chief Editor of the Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery)

Dear Editor:

I would like to request whether the following information can be added to the article that I recently submitted to your journal, entitled "Treatment of facial burn sequelae using fractional CO2 laser in patients with skin phototypes III to VI,"1 which was published in edition 27(1) of the Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery):

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The authors would like to thank Miss Kerolin Oh for her assistance in patient care as well as the Brazilian Rental Laser Company, which kindly provided - free of charge - the equipment used for all the patients in the present study, including the SmartXide Dot laser device (Deka, Florence, Italy), Freddo (FABINJECT, Taubate, SP, Brazil), and post-laser moisturizing Vicae (Vicae Cosmetic, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil).

The authors reiterate that they have no conflicts of interest, financial or commercial, with any device or product used for this study. However, the treatment of these patients would not have been possible without the abovementioned collaboration.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused by my error in omitting this information during the initial manuscript submission.

Sincerely,

Alessandra Grassi Salles
Coordinator of Cosmetic and Laser Group of Plastic Surgery Discipline of the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (Clinics Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo), full member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery)
