ABSTRACT

Introduction: The author proposes an alternative for suspension of the layer malar fat pad of the middle third of the face, through least minimal incisions and to hide, using a needle created specifically for this finality. Method: The technique consists in "catching" and elevate a portion of cloth, without leaving sequel in the glabrous skin, through incision in pilous zigomatic region of about 1.5 cm, using from 2 to 3 points of sustenance. Results: Ten patients were selected with age between 35 and 45 years and degree of cutaneous aging II/III of Glogau, pointing of the treated areas ptosed, with improvement of the outline, volume and definition of the treated regions. Conclusion: Because of being simple, not much invasive, reversible method and of good results, it can be used like primary or complementary treatment of surgeries of facial rejuvenation, needing, however, evaluation of the results on middle and long term.

RESUMO

Introdução: O autor propõe uma alternativa para suspensão da camada fibroadiposa do terço médio da face, através de incisões mínimas e dissimuláveis, utilizando uma agulha criada especificamente para esta finalidade. Método: A técnica consiste em "fisgar" e tracionar uma porção de tecido, sem deixar seqüela na pele glabra, através de incisão em região pilosa zigomática de aproximadamente 1,5 cm, usando de 2 a 3 pontos de sustentação. Resultados: Foram selecionadas 10 pacientes com idade entre 35 e 45 anos e grau de envelhecimento cutâneo II/III de Glogau, observando-se elevação das áreas ptosadas, com melhora do contorno, volume e definição das regiões tratadas. Conclusão: Por ser um método simples, pouco invasivo, reversível e de bons resultados, pode ser usado como tratamento primário ou complementar de cirurgias de rejuvenescimento facial, necessitando, porém, de avaliação dos resultados a médio e longo prazo.
