ABSTRACT

The authors mark the mammary meridian, the sub mammary fold, the intersection between these lines (point I), its projection on mamma (point A) and two others intermediaries points A1 and A2, quantifying the skin resection in two spindles between A1 and A2 and between A2 and I by bidigital impingement. They use a vertical mammary flap with inferior pedicle, slid downward in V-Y during the closure of the incisions, after the introduction of the prosthesis and increase of the projection of mamma, offering protection and higher support to the prosthesis, and avoiding the palpation feeling in the mammary groove. The technique still excludes the sliding of the prosthesis below the groove and the consequent emptying of the lap. The authors obtained good results in 56 patients operated.

RESUMO

Os autores marcam o meridiano mamário, o sulco mamário, a intersecção entre essas linhas (ponto I), a projeção dele sobre a mama (ponto A) e outros dois pontos intermediários A1 e A2, quantificando a ressecção da pele em dois fusos entre A1 e A2 e A2 e I determinados por pinçamento bidigital. Utilizam a tática do retalho mamário vertical de pedículo inferior deslizado para baixo em V-Y durante o fechamento das incisões, após a introdução da prótese e aumento da projeção da mama, a fim de oferecer proteção e maior suporte à prótese e eliminar a sensação de palpação da mesma no sulco mamário. A técnica ainda evita o deslizamento da prótese abaixo do sulco e o consequente esvaziamento do colo. Obtiveram bons resultados em 56 pacientes operadas.
